The Todd Group formerly the Baldock Institute was established in 1927 by the late Harry Baldock and has been European military close combat and military self-defence specialists for longer than any other private specialist training provider in our European military CQC/MSD trade-craft.

The trade-craft includes wide ranging military armed and unarmed combat as well as military self-defence , defensive tactics and close protection schools of instruction.

We have been Army CQC/MSD instructors since WW11 to regular and elite forces.

Our CPO training courses lineage and trade-craft expertise has a collective line of military close protection pioneers and next generation experts in the CPP field that include Harry Baldock Col Rex Applegate Lawrence Jordan and others.

These experts in the close protection field were responsible for high level high risk war time close protection roles including the protection of leaders of countries government officials and high ranking military officers.

In my early days I was involved as a minder looking after clients that were not well known but were under threat of assault were victims of domestic violence and the like.
