The D-WAR package has been designed and developed to provide the best and most proven means available under extensive test conditions to safely neutralise serious sexual predators and predatory sexual violence threats.
The Todd group training team have committed considerable time and assistance to my project at the Todd group headquarters with the testing of the individual skills as well as assisting with the publication of the manual.
During the initial introduction phase pilot courses have been conducted throughout New Zealand and in Australia and Southeast Asia.
I have also conducted instructor training courses with the requirement that all D-WAR instructors must be at a minimum phase 1 CQC qualified prior to undertaking the D-WAR instructor training.
The D-WAR courses must be delivered by a male and female instructor and assistant instructor and privacy is paramount with no unauthorised photographing or filming of such training being permitted.
The pilot courses have included instruction to military dependents and all pilot courses have received 100% positive post course reviews and in fact rave reviews as to the attendees having never seen anything like it before.
Many attended thinking it could be just another self-defence course delivered by a martial arts instructor and based on a specific traditional or sporting martial arts styles like they had learned before while at school or as adults on community or university self-defence courses.
